In the aftermath of the September 11th tragedy, we have been bombarded by all sorts of allegations and hoaxes aimed primarily at proving that those who perpetrated this crime were not Arabs and/or Muslims.
As much as we strive to overcome the injustice done to us because of this dramatic event, we must also refuse to run away from the fact that the criminals might as well be among other thing Arabs and/or Muslims. This should not make us feel guilty by association as those narrow minded and illiterate lunatics and racists would like us to be. Timothy McVeigh and his associates, fanatic Christians, perpetrated the second biggest terrorist act in the U.S. history. That did not make every devote Christian or every Michiganian a terrorist!
Now, let’s get to some of these hoaxes flourishing around:

It is not true that 4000 Jews who worked at the WTC were absent the day of the attack. Just as there were hundreds of Muslims (Pakistanis, Turks, Indonesians, Iranians, etc) who were working in the twin towers and fell victims to this attack, there were also many American Jews, and even Israelis, who died there. No one as of yet has a total and complete victims list to sort out the number of each religion’s victims. Just think about this for a moment: Who had a complete roster of those who work at the WTC, which include the religion of every employee, and was able to find out who was there and who wasn’t to come up with this figure? Do you think that a secret, such as this, could have been shared by 4000 people and yet not find its way out? This is absolute nonsense! The Mossad is not foreign to terrorism at all, but an act of such scale, the way it was executed and the place where it took place is very unlikely to be the work of the Israelis, at least not directly.

No, Nostradamus did not predict this event nor did he write that stupid note prophesying this tragedy in New York, which goes: "In the City of God there will be a great thunder; Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb; The third big war will begin when the big city is burning"…

None of the four hijacked airplanes had a flight number of Q33NY, as alleged by those not-too smart who are trying to play with people’s mind by asking them to write this number in MS Word, enlarge it to 72 and change the font to Wingdings 1. Voila! The Jews did it!! The actual flight numbers were AA11, AA77, UA93, and UA175.
Let’s be rational and intelligent about sorting out what really makes sense from the trashy hoaxes that are flying around and pilling up in our inboxes.
We should be strong to condemn whoever has done this whether they are Arabs, Jews, Japanese, Americans, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians or whatever. They are simply criminals for killing innocent people, period!
