for thirty days before it attempted to stop the Israeli
barbaric slaughter of the Lebanese civilians. More than
1,100 Lebanese, mostly children, women, and elderly have
been killed by the most vicious military campaign against a
population since the beginning of this century. And when
the U.N. finally acted, it completely ignored the barbaric
crimes of the Israeli terrorism against the people of
Lebanon.
