Israeli warplanes and heavy artilleries waged a barbaric
bombing campaign on Bint Jbeil for 10 days following the
"Battle of Bint Jbeil" in which a battalion of the Israeli
Golani brigade suffered a humiliating defeat on the hand of
the Lebanese resistance at the beginning of the Israeli war
on Lebanon.
